Set Your Day Up for Success with God!

Posture=Attitude=Confession=Creation

Each new day is another opportunity to create a new life for yourself, and it starts with a choice of posture, attitude, faith and confession. 

Speak life and not destruction, hope and not despair, putting God first in all things.

Who will have more authority to work in your life today creating his will, will it be God or your enemy Satan?

It all depends on you. Set yourself up for success with God today. 

Posture with the right attitude, confessions and actions that will please God and leave the rest to Him. Don't allow the enemy a foothold by setting up favorable ground for him in your posture, attitude, and the words you speak. Give it all to your Heavenly Father. Remember God sees success differently than man. Obedience to His will and word is key.

Having success with God, pleasing Him is what really matters at the end of the day.

This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it! - Psalm 118:24

It's a New Day...what are you going to do with it?

1) Posture your day with the right energy. Lay a foundation for God's blessings.

Give God thanks for a new day. Thank Him simply for who He is. Thank Him and praise Him because He is God, and all praise belongs to Him.

Psalm 113:3-5

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.

Get in the mindset of gratitude.

2) Gratitude creates right attitudes. Cultivate a good attitude.

Remember, the enemy wants you to have a negative attitude to channel negativity into your new day and poison it, giving him fertile ground to operate.
God wants you to have a positive faith attitude to set you up for blessings.

Ephesians 4:27

Neither give place to the devil.

Attitude is the foundation for right emotions. 

3) Now speak life to your day. Speak positive confessions, based on God's Word.

Your words, good or bad, will influence and create good or bad ground for your day. God is watching, and the enemy is too.

“Proverbs 18:21 
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” 

Faith without works is lifeless

4) Continue to speak life, and look to encourage and bless someone. Those kind acts will help to water and nurture your faith in the positive things you speak, while keeping the right attitude.

James 2:20

... faith without works is dead.

5) The choice is yours. Rejoice that God is faithful, and will lead and guide you through your day, all for His honor and glory, which is best for you.

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

                                                            Morning Prayer for God's Goodness and Grace 

To begin your day with gratitude and a prayer of thanks to God, you can use the following morning prayer structure:

  • Open with a prayer of gratitude: Acknowledge the blessings in your life and express your thanks to God for His goodness and grace.

  • Include a Bible verse: Incorporate a relevant Bible verse that aligns with the theme of God's goodness and grace.

  • Close with a prayer of hope: End with a prayer that reflects hope and trust in God's promises for the day ahead.

       Here's a sample morning prayer structure you can use:

  1. Open with a prayer of gratitude: "Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of a new day. Fill my heart with Your peace and guide my steps today."

  2. Include a Bible verse: "Lamentations 3:22-23 – 'Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.'"

  3. Close with a prayer of hope: "Lord, I declare that today is a day of victory. No weapon formed against me shall prosper because You are with me. Thank You for Your love, protection, guidance and victories this day." 

     

    This structure can help you start your day with a heart full of thankfulness and a prayer of hope, aligning your thoughts with God's promises and your actions with His will.
