Cayenne Pepper:

Used to ward off disease and equalize blood circulation. It may also prevent strokes and heart attacks by increasing the heart action but not the blood pressure. It has the ability to rebuild tissue and also helps combat fatigue.

Hair Dye:

Fashion may dictate that you hide those gray hairs, but repeat use of hair dye can lead to scalp dermatitis and hair loss. That's  why dermatologists increasingly have advised patients to alternate chemical hair dye with vegetable-base dyes, such as henna.

Tired Eyes?:

If you experience tired, strained eyes,   try drinking a cup or two of mineral water,  Yes, simple mineral water you can buy at the super market, you know the ones in the green bottle,  we have all seen them.   My experience  is that it works!   My eyes felt relaxed and the strain gone after lots of computer work and reading. So try it and pay attention the next day after drinking two cups of mineral water ...you may be pleasantly surprised!!

Toothache relief

Can't find a thing to calm a painful tooth?

Try an ice cold compress...on your hand.  That's right. The meaty part of your hand, between thumb and forefinger, is known as the "hokupoint.", which can be pressed to relieve a tension headache, for instance. But if you place a cube of ice or compresson the "hokupoint" can lessen the pain of a toothache. Hold the ice pack on the area for five minutes as necessary thoughout the the day.

Better Blood Flow

Of all the medicinal uses that have been cataloged for the ancient Ginkgo tree, the one that mystifies herbalist even today is that it can cure dizziness in a matter of minutes. Theory has it that because Ginkgo Biloba helps speed  blood flow throughout the body, the brain gets a fresh blood boost as well. This again would be in theory, nourish the parts of the brain that are temporarily short on oxygen.

2Amazing Teas

The Gut, ...Our second brain!?

Did you know that our gut is considered our second brain?   ...It  even resembles it in how it appears. If you take a look at the human anatomy of digestive tract you will see it looks like the brain.

Gut health is vitally important to overall health. In many ways "you are what you eat."

"The enteric nervous system (ENS) is a massive mesh of neurons located in our gastrointestinal tract. It's the largest collection of neurons found in the body outside of the brain, and because of its ability to operate entirely independently it has often been referred to as our "second brain."

Take care of your gut and it will take good care of you!

                         Cucumber: The great hydrator:

It keeps you hydrated!

Your body can’t function properly without water. Most people should aim to drink   six to eight glasses of water per day, according to the American Academy of Family Physicians.
We know we’re supposed to drink water throughout the day, but sometimes plain    water can only do so much.
Cucumber hydration is unique in that it seems to reach and effect cells in a                different more powerful way in some cases than plain water.

I often tell the true story of having very dry cracking heels mostly in winter, even   though I would drink enough water.   I could not seem to overcome this   problem.  Because I love cucumbers, and had read in my research how  cucumbers  have powerful hydration effects, I began eating one cucumber a day, and after two weeks the dryness had completely disappeared. That told me the pure hydrating water in cucumber reached different cells, or had an affect on  cells that plain water did not.  Try it if you too experience dry skin or feet.
